High Country Mission Hawks Do well at NARCh Finals tournament
Jul 29, 2008, 11:25 am
Congratulations to all the High Country Mission Hawks on a great job at NARCh Finals in San Jose.  We had 5 teams participate in this national tournament with teams from all over the US and Canada & a few International teams.  We had 4 of our 5 teams make it to the playoffs which is a great accomplishment.  Our 14's PeeWee team managed to win a Bronze medal which I believe is our first medal at a NARCh Finals event for our club.  The team's only loss was to the eventual Gold Medal team of Katios Hockey Club from Columbia in a overtime thriller.

All our teams did a great job in respresenting our program, our arena, our parents, and our sponsors.  I had a number of conversations with Dave at Mission Hockey and he was very happy with our teams representation of Mission Hockey.  They are proud to be a sponsor of our program and it is an honor to represent Mission Hockey with our program.

I look forward to next year and our year end party with information coming out soon with the details.  Again it was a great year and appreciate everyones effort in making this a great year of hockey.

Special thank you to all the participants including the hard working volunteers that put the float together and organized the kids.  Thank you for representing High Country Sports Arena and keeping this tradition alive and well.
We can't forget our mascot ROLLER ROO who was a hit again.
